International Buyers Program
The U.S. Department of Commerce has selected GOA to participate in its International Buyer Program (IBP) for the tenth straight year. The IBP recognizes GOA as one of only a handful of major trade shows from over 7,000 annually in the U.S. to receive this designation, and promotes the show to international business executives through their worldwide network of embassies and consulates.
IBP facilitates international delegates attendance at the show. More than 493 delegates from 9 countries attended GOA 2011.
We work closely with the U.S. Department of Commerce in advance and on show site to partner international buyers and American suppliers. In advance, we assist buyers in contacting their local U.S. Commercial Services specialists to make arrangements to maximize their participation at the show. On site, the U.S. Department of Commerce operates an International Business Center (IBC) booth on the show floor. The IBC booth personnel help coordinate appointments between international buyers and U.S. suppliers, and provide export and financial assistance information.
