International Buyer Program
The U.S. Department of Commerce has selected it to participate in its 2009 International Buyer Program for the third straight year.
The IBP recognizes GOA 2009 as one of only a handful of major trade shows in the US to receive this designation, and will promote the show to International Business Executives through their worldwide network of Embassies and Consulates.
The 2009 Graphics of the Americas is the second largest graphic arts and converting show in America, representing the vital Southeast and Northeast US, as well as Caribbean and Latin American markets. Nearly 40% of Attendees come from Mexico, South and Central America and the Caribbean. International graphics arts professionals consider GOA to be the leading printing show for the Latin American market.
Working closely with the US Department of Commerce to facilitate the match making contacts between International Buyers and American suppliers, GOA 2009 is offering two ways to take advantage of this program. In advance of the show, buyers are able to contact their local US Commercial Service office, where a Commercial Service Officer will help them make arrangements to maximize their participation at the show. On show site, there will be the International Business Center, located on the show floor in Booth #2278. US Department of Commerce Trade Specialists will assist with appointments and contacts with US suppliers. There will be meeting rooms and translation services available within the IBC.
